"I talked to your principal today, Matthew. You know that if you don't get an A on tomorrow's test, you will be expelled from school. That means we would have to move you to a new school."
"I'm trying, Mom, but it's just so difficult!" Matthew groaned as he trudged to his room, and slammed his door.
Matthew was a young boy around fourteen who was failing school and no matter how hard he tried it seemed he couldn't get an A on anything. He really didn't want to leave all his friends and move to a new school; he didn't want to be the "weird, new kid" or whatever, but it seemed hopeless.
